2. Disable fast startup

Fast startup is a feature that considerably reduces the boot time when you turn on Windows after shut down. With the feature enabled, certain critical files are saved and immediately loaded on startup.

  1. PressWindows+Sto launch theSearchmenu then enterControl Panelin the text field at the top, and click on the top search result that appears.

  2. SelectSystem & Securityfrom the list of options that appear.

  3. Click onPower options.
