Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 specs

Here’s a breakdown of the specs boasted by the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Plus and S9 Ultra:

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 key upgrades

The key upgrades to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 range – versus theSamsung Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus andSamsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra– vary between models.

For the Galaxy Tab S9, you’re getting a brighter screen (AMOLED instead of LCD), a faster processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy), a slightly bigger battery (8,400mAh), more RAM options (up to 12GB) and an IP68 water resistance rating.

For the larger Tab S9 Plus model, the improvements are mostly the same, though instead of a battery size increase and display upgrade – the S8 already uses an AMOLED screen – Samsung has included a beefier ultra-wide sensor on the rear of the tablet (8MP). The Tab S9 Plus is available in 512GB storage options, too.

A direct successor to the sufficiently bonkers Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the Tab S9 Ultra keeps the same 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display as its predecessor, but brings similar improvements in the chipset, RAM, storage and durability departments, with an IP68 water resistance rating chief among the upgrades.
