If you’re intopolitics, you’ll definitely love Political Animals. This election simulation sends you right in the middle of a fierce political contest where any means can be used to make your way to office. The game is set in a fictional world populated by corrupt crocodiles and meritocratic mice.

In this political contest, corruption is always around the corner and you’ll get the chance to find out how incorruptible you really are. Political Animals also allows you to know yourself better and see if you’re capable of running your campaign in the best interests of the people, or if you will succumb to bribery and intimidation.

Of course, when the situation gets really worse, you can always resort to dishonest means to win votes or buy them. After all, all is fair in love, war and politics.

There are many characters you can choose from and several maps you can play on. Also, there are various strategies you can employ to win over the population, district by district, depending on the situation.

Political Animals lets you take turns and move your candidate and their supporting team around the political landscape. Each time you take turns, you spend points. As stated above, you can resort to dishonest methods if the situation requires it: you can bribe the voters to support you, raise funds from the wealthy, give gifts to the influential local district patrons, and more.

Just like in real election campaigns, you’ll encounter unexpected events, such as scandals and the agents of your opponents.
