After recently revealing theJuly round-up of updatesforPower BI,Microsoftnow has introduced five newPower BIPremium Capacity settings.
Power BI admins now have more control over capacities
These new settings are mainly aimed atadministrators, to better control the capacities and to avoid any potential issues on the way.
Also, thePower BIadmins can now set limits toMax Offline Dataset Size, create a more performant capacity, and prevent reports from affecting others using the capacity.
Here’s thedetailed descriptionof each of the five new capacity settings and how they work in a real-world scenario:
If you’re aPower BIadmin, you can access these settings on the Admin Portal. There, you’ll have to go to theCapacity settings page and under the Management tab, expand the Workloads section.
