Key notes

Microsofthas announced that they have made further steps into a deeper integration of their two main collaboration tools. As a result, it is now possible to bring Teams into yourSharePointsite, as well as the other way round – pin certain documents or lists to be added to the Teams channel separately, via the improvedSharePointtab.

All theserecent changesfocus on a stronger collaboration experience and ease team members’ access to all the important files that are work-in-progress in one application or the other.

This is not only making it more comfortable for team members to collaborate on the same resources, but it also encourages organizations to adopt theMicrosoftsuite on a larger scale, given such transparency and clarification features.

Using the SharePoint tabs into Teams

In addition to the mentioned new feature, same-team members can also pin  pages, library news, or lists to their Teams channel by clicking the “+” button and choosingSharePointand the content.

Users will also see a newRecommendedtab which contains the most relevantSharePointcontent their team is working on, for a more direct access and selection.

On this occasion, theSharePointpages app in Teams also brings a few changes. Namely, users can now add a page from anySharePointsite link and then paste the URL of the page or news post that has to be added as a tab. Upon permission verification, users will either be taken to the respective page or offered the possibility to request access.

With such useful options, it is likely thatSharePointwill become even more popular than the benchmark200 million daily usersannounced recently.
