Connect your printer to WiFi
Next, we’ll be looking at some ways in which you can set up the connection between your Chromebook and yourprinter.
1. Use the WiFi printer driver extension
You can find aWiFiprinter driver extension for Chromebooks in theChrome Web Store. This is an extension that, once installed, automatically recognizes yourprinterwhich is already connected toWiFi.

2. Use the Google Cloud Print system
Google Cloud Printis a service available mostly for cloud-readyprinters, that connects yourprinterto the web. Similarly to the previous method, while you’re logged in to the same network as theprinter, you should be able to see it and print any document.
Unlike the Chrome printer extension, Google Cloud Print includes a wider selection of compatibleprinters. Yourprintermust have theGoogle Cloud Print feature for you to be able to use this service.
If yourprinteris not cloud-ready and you want to use this method, you will have to contact your manufacturer for help.
