The Sims 4 recently received a new DLC focusing on family life. TitledThe Parenthood game pack, it challenges players to become better parents through real-life family situations such as sibling rivalries, school projects, bad behavior, and more.
However, many players are complaining that their families have hadmore boys than girls:
Between 2 different families my sims have had a total of 12 baby boys and no baby girls. This has happened ever since the latest patch and the newest Parenthood GP. Anyone else have this problem?
In this article, we’re going to show you what you can do to influence the gender of your baby in The Sims 4: Parenthood DLC.
Steps to have a baby girl in The Sims 4
Eating carrots or listening to alternative music can lead to having baby boys. So, make sure that your Sims don’t engage in these kinds of activities prior to conceiving a baby.
To increase their chances of having a baby girl, Sims should eat strawberries and listen to pop music.
On the other hand, some players have been luckier and even managed to conceive triplets:
I had triplets just last night and it was two boys and one girl. i feel blessed to get one girl usually but to get one right off was amazing. I do have seven to ten boys to one girl.
Keep in mind that several attempts may be necessary to achieve the results you want. But we guess that’s another manner the game stays faithful to real life events.
Another way to influence the gender of your child in The Sims 4 is to use cheats.
