We saw all sorts ofgreattoolsfromMicrosoftover the years, and one of thesetoolsis Windows Essentials.

Windows Essentials worked great onprevious versions of Windows, and since this is such widely used set oftools, we decided to make a small guide on how to install Windows Essentials on Windows 10.

Windows Essentials is a collection ofMicrosoft’sapplications and it was first released in 2006.

Over the years Windows Essentials went through various changes with sometoolsadded and others removed from the suite.

Regarding updates, the last update for Windows Essentials was released in 2012, and sinceMicrosoftisn’t actively working on Windows Essentials, many are concerned whether will Windows Essentials run on Windows 10.

We’re pleased to inform you that Windows Essentials can be installed on Windows 10, and that many of its applications work perfectly.

The customer support periodended in January 2017, so it is not available for Windows 10. Currently, Windows Essentials can’t be downloaded from Microsoft Store.

You can also download Windows Essential from third party websites, but on your own risk.
