Microsoft finally releases the freshest major update forWindows 10,the Fall Creators Update, on October 17. When the rollout officially starts, millions ofWindows 10users around the world will get the new version of the system. As there are multiple ways to obtain the new update, you can pick one that suits you.
How to download Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
There are two legitimate ways to obtain theFall Creators Update. And you’re probably familiar with both of them. Of course, we’re talking about updating throughWindows Updateand manually installing the update. And in case you’re not sure how todownloadit, we’ll be talking about it in a bit.

Install through Windows Update
The most popular, easiest, and straightforward way toinstallWindows 10Fall Creators Update(and just about any other update) is throughWindows Update. If you choose toinstallthe new update like probably 90 percent of otherusers, you’re choosing the easy path. All you have to do is go toSettings>Update & securityand check for updates.
As soon as theFall Creators Updatebecomes available in your region, thedownloadprocess will start automatically. Just wait for everything todownloadandinstall, restart your computer, and follow further instructions. After the process is finished, you’ll end up with the freshlyinstalledFall Creators Updateon your computer. As simple as that.

You’ll get theinstallationfiles in form of a Media Creation tool. When you start the tool, you can choose whether you just want todownloadtheISO file, andmounttheUSBlater, or create aninstallationmedia right on the spot.
