YouTubeTV users reported an occasionalerrorthat they encounter and that reads:Playback error. Sorry, there was an error licensing this video.
It appears only when usingChromecastmedia players or a Chromebook. Note thatYouTubeTV supports the latestChromecastdevices, orChromecast-enabled app, andChromecastUltra.
If you’re using a first-generationChromecast, issues are even more frequent. Additionally, it seems that theerrordoesn’t affect onlyYouTubeTV streaming, but any video-related content.
How do I fix the licensing error on YouTube TV?
1. Update Chrome
2. Update the Widevine CDM component in Chrome
