2. Make sure files are in the right location

Lightroom has a history of having issues moving files. That is why the best thing to do is to move files outside of Lightroom, using the traditional Copy and Paste combination.

Additionally, whether the newly created folders are on a removable hard drive or not. If they are, make sure the external hard drive is properly connected to the PC.

3. Make sure the folders are accessible

Folders that don’t have read and write permissions granted to them will not appear in Lightroom. You can change this by right-clicking the folder and disabling the box labeled Read-only.

Additionally, make sure that the folders are not hidden since these too are inaccessible by Lightroom.

By following the above-mentioned steps, you should be able to view any folder in Lightroom CC, regardless of whether it is new, old, native or imported.
