ManyWindows Phone8 andWindows Phone8.1 users are allegedly being affected by an annoyingerrorwhen the try to update certain apps, such asWhatsApp,Instagram,PDF Readerand others. Here are some potential fixes.Recently, on the Microsoft support community forums, somebody has been complaining about a weird error code. Here’s what he said – ‘my phone says I have anupdateand it downloads to 13% the stops and says error 801882d2, what does this mean I need help’. After looking online for a few fixes, here’s what I was able to find. If you happen to know how to solve this, do let us know. And here’s what another one says:

This happened a few days ago on my Nokia 920 withWindows Phone8. I have tried repeatedly to update it with the sameerrorevery time. I cannot uninstall it because the uninstall option is greyed out when I hold the app icon down and the little menu comes up. I have also tried a reinstall from my Microsoft account with no change, and reinstalling via the app store – it just directs me to the same download page on the phone which has failed already. Grateful for suggestions as to how I can either remove it and start again, or successfully update it.
