Who hasn’t heard about Studio Wildcard’s Ark Survival Evolved game by now? Pretty much everyone has tried this awesome title at least once since hearing about it.

These types of games are highly enticing to all sorts of players for a multitude of reasons, about which we’re sure you want to hear more.

What’s not to like about players having to survive while being stranded on one of several maps filled with roaming dinosaurs, fictional fantasy monsters and other prehistoric animals, natural hazards, and potentially hostile human players?

Now, we’re about to take a closer look at the latest game update, version 2.79, and see what tweaks the developers have decided to make.

Note that Ark Survival Evolved update 2.79 was released today for PS4, PC, and Xbox One and we’re about to review the changelog together.

The previous patch brought a new free DLC to the game, but it also led to some problems including issues with the save data on the PS4.

Now, developers made some changes that users will surely welcome with open arms since the tweaks were a must.

PS4 v704.7 (704.6 client) – 06/14/2022 – Minor version for clients

PS4 v704.7 – 06/13/2022 – Minor version for servers

PC v346.12 – 06/13/2022 – Minor version for servers

Xbox v948.7 – 06/13/2022 – Minor version for servers

These are the changes implemented with the release of Update 2.79 for the Ark: Survival Evolved game, as developers informed us.
