Key notes
The web browser market is dominated by major web browsers, but what about lesser-known web browsers, such as 360 Browser?
If you’re not familiar with this browser, in today’s article we’re going to analyze it and see what it can offer to its users.
Quick tip:
One amazing browser that we think you should also have a closer look at, isOpera.
This browser comes with tab management features that allow you to easily organize your tabs into Workspaces and the Search in Tabs option will make it easy to find a specific tab.
Opera has built-in tracking protection that will block tracking scripts and cookies and improve webpage loading time. In addition, there’s a built-in ad blocker as well.
Another great feature is the free VPN. The VPN offers three different servers and unlimited bandwidth. The browser is based on Chromium, and it can work with Chrome extensions.
As for additional features, there’s a pop-out video player, advanced tab management, instant messenger, and Instagram integration.
Opera is secure, fast, light on resources, and it’s available on all major platforms, so be sure to try it out.

What is 360 Browser and should I use it?
1. What is 360 Browser?
360 Browser was made by a Chinese company Qihoo and it was released in September 2008, but the browser became available globally in 2014.
The browser uses Blink rendering, but the browser will switch to the Trident browsing engine when using compatibility mode.
360 Browser is available for download only from third-party websites.
2. Is 360 Browser safe?
According to users, in 2012 there were accusations by Digital Due Diligence company that the browser prevents you from setting a different default web browser.
Users also claim that the browser was difficult to uninstall. In 2013 there was a report claiming that a browser had a security flaw.
This flaw could be used to alter Windows DLL files, expose passwords, label unsafe websites as safe and make connections to Qihoo servers without user knowledge.
As you can see, 360 Browser had its share of controversy in the past, and this is why you should use a more secure web browser such as Opera.
